Mac mini and High-End MacBook Pro Excluded from Initial Release of M3 Chip, According to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman

According to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, the Mac mini and high-end MacBook Pro will not be part of the initial release of Macs with the M3 chip. Gurman believes that while an M3 version of the Mac mini is in the works, it won't be available until late 2024 at the earliest. The new 14- and 16-inch MacBook Pro models, expected to feature the M3 Pro and M3 Max chips, will likely launch by mid-2024. Gurman also noted that Apple doesn't see the Mac mini as needing annual refreshes, unlike the more popular high-end MacBook Pro. The first Macs with the M3 chip are expected to be the 13-inch MacBook Pro, 13-inch MacBook Air, and 24-inch iMac, launching in October.
