iPhone 15 Lineup to Feature Groundbreaking Glass-Plastic Hybrid Lens, Setting Global Smartphone Standard

According to a Twitter user, the iPhone 15 lineup will feature a glass-plastic hybrid lens with an /1.7 aperture, making it the first global smartphone with this technology. The main camera will also have an /1.7 aperture, slightly better than the iPhone 14 Pro models. The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus will have a 48-megapixel rear camera, but a smaller aperture compared to the iPhone 14 models. The larger aperture will allow more light into the camera, improving low-light performance and creating a shallower depth of field.
